We… need to stop comparing and disqualifying ourselves because we aren’t attracted to the same things and don’t have the same beauty as the next person. Actually, we do have the same beauty—as sons and daughters, we are all clothed in the royal priestly robes of Heaven and share its beauty. But that beauty is so rich and diverse that God needs all of us to display different aspects and dimensions of it. As we learn to behold the beauty of the Lord and grow in the intimacy to which it draws us, we will no longer feel threatened by what other people have and instead appreciate it. We will also discover our own beauty and begin to put it on display.
